ECOALF

(Madrid, Spain)  ECOALF is a global leader in developing and utilizing recycled materials — including plastic bottles recovered from the ocean, discarded fishing nets, recycled cotton, and recycled nylon—to create sustainable fashion products. Founded in 2009, ECOALF’s mission is to halt the careless use of natural resources by producing recycled products that match the quality, design, and durability of the best conventional products on the market.

The company has developed over 400 different recycled fabrics and uses GRS-certified materials to ensure that its sourcing meets strict environmental and ethical standards. ECOALF is committed to becoming a NET ZERO brand by 2030.

The name ECOALF combines “eco,” representing ecology and environmental responsibility, with “Alf,” for Alfredo, the founder Javier Goyeneche’s eldest son — symbolizing a personal connection to future generations and the company’s deep commitment to protecting the planet. In 2021, ECOALF was  recognized as a “Best for the World” B Corporation for its environmental leadership.
