What are you reading right now?

When you look for new books to read, what grabs your attention? Most of you know how much of an avid reader I am. I try my best to read at least one book per week, mainly focused on Leadership and Personal Development. How many books do you read throughout the year? Below are the last 12 books I have read. Have you checked any of these books out yet? Feel free to reach out

1) The Chosen Ones by: Tony Meale. This is a wonderful read about the only High School boys basketball team in Ohio that defeated LeBron, which was accomplished during his Junior year at St. Vincent St. mary’s in the state championship game. It is a very compelling story! We will be having the author (Tony) on our podcast this fall.

2) The Carpenter by: Jon Gordon. This is an incredible fictional story about a carpenter who saved a man’s life and then proceeded to share three great lessons with the man during his recovery. We are also excited to have Jon Gordon and his son Cole scheduled for our podcast this October.

3) The Founder’s Treadmill by: David Grau Sr. Excellent insights on how to build, scale, and prepare to exit your business. We had the honor to interview the author (David) on our podcast as well.

4) A Trek Within by: Rob Ryan Sullivan. Some incredible stories that share life’s golden nuggets. I had the pleasure of having the author on our podcast earlier this year.

5) The Pressure-Free CEO by: Elle Ingalls. The author shares excellent research and tips on how you can handle pressure more effectively. I’ve also had the honor of meeting the author (Elle) in person.

6) Daily Wisdom for Men by: Dan Britton and Jimmy Page. Excellent daily lessons and stories based on biblical principles. Had the honor of having both authors (separately) on our podcast.

7) The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by: Stephen R. Covey.  A classic that I reread many times. A must read!

8) Red Light Green Light by: Cindy Skalicky. Excellent insights and activities to improve your communication skills. We also had the pleasure of interviewing the author (Cindy) on our podcast.

9) Disrupted by: Andre Thornton. The world is constantly being disrupted. The author shares powerful stories and tactics to handle disruption. Interviewed the author (Andre) on our podcast and enjoyed every second of it.

10) Attitude – The Cornerstone of Leadership by: Pat Sullivan. Highly successful retired college men’s basketball coach, Pat Sullivan uses ATTITUDE as an acronym with great insights and stories. We had the pleasure to have the coach on our podcast as well.

11) The Way of the Shepherd by: Dr. Kevin Leman and Bill Pentak. A fable that is also a beautiful story with many excellent leadership lessons learned throughout.

12) Cheers to Monday by: Amy Leneker: The author shares her personal burnout story and also gives great strategies and stories to help people avoid it themselves. Had the honor to interview the author on our podcast.

Did you know? Coach made appearances on four different podcasts last week. The episodes will be released soon and we will share them here! If you are looking for a guest on your podcast, please reach out. Coach is always looking to support others.
